Gary Phillips and Jervey Tervalon were sitting around one day, having a cocktail, talking about sex, drugs and cash, when all of the sudden a light bulb came on. HEY. Let's create a book dedicated to stories solely about cocaine. And The Cocaine Chronicles was born. Yeah, I have no clue how the idea actually came about, but it sounds good doesn't it?

This book is a collection of fictional short stories about cocaine, written by various authors. Like most drugs, sometimes it's all fun and sex games. Used at parties and occasionally as weight-loss supplements. Other times, little children's lives get ruined and people die.

It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will make you want to get high....just kidding. Sort of.
